It's hard to tell from the video just how much water it is; if it's just a drip, I've certainly had that happen due to condensation (particularly while on the ground or on a humid day). Actually a pretty common occurrence, which could explain why the F/As weren't initially alarmed even if it turned out to be a larger problem.

Too bad it wasn't going to ECP. The passengers would have had a head start on the wet t-shirt contest.

Also

QUOTE:

However “a half-dozen people [being] soaked by flight’s end” is a bit less common, as well as flight attendants not bothering to “address the leak until the flight was in its final descent.”

“They eventually realized how stupid the situation was and just stuffed napkins into the ceiling.”

“It eventually stopped but I mean, we were basically in Fort Myers at that point,” he said.

Clearly not an FT'er---- No melodramatic thread from the "injured party", begging for miles and anointment of his elite feet.

Yes, quite amusing along with this, LOL:

"Delta Airlines current anti-ME3 campaign already pays off for passengers as the airline now offers inflight showers almost like Emirates: Water dripping from the ceiling and soaking passengers."

Agree that man is pretty good natured. He certainly doesn't seem the type to seek $1MM compensation for stress, duress and mental anguish lol

I can't tell the a/c type. Is that a 7-5?

Delta's job is to get you from point A to point B safely. No where in the contract of carriage does it guarantee dry accommodations. Passengers are free to purchase rain ponchos.
