I have noticed that DL uses A330 for ATL-HNL to and from. However, the last 3 days they're flying the A350-900. We're scheduled tomorrow and all indications are it should be the A330. Does anyone know if they plane they have subbed in has 1-2-1 or 2-2-2 config? We're a family of 3, so 2-2-2 would suck for D1. I can't see which tail number they're flying, if that would determine which cabin configuration it would have.

What do you guys think of 31A on DL41 LAX-SYD and 32A on DL40 SYD-LAX in terms of view and comfort? I usually pick 41A or 41J, but I got upgraded to 31A and 32A. I'm assuming 31A and 32A are better seats than 41A and 41J?

Looks like a new LOPA is circulating for a new A359 configuration to be introduced next year. D1 is going up to 40 seats (probably needed) and PS is losing one row. What I dont like is it looks like D1 is going down to 2 lavs, which I think would make this the highest passenger : lav configuration for Delta in D1.
