Lower Michigan may be crash site for falling Chinese space station Daily Mail Online

The thread title is just kidding folks.

Considering some other currently over-stressed (over-stressful?) threads, I figured it was time to lighten up.

I don't know... a little wobble, one way or another, in the trajectory and CVG is not far from DTW.

For that matter, the latitude of PHL is closer to that of DTW than CVG. If it stays airborne just a bit longer...

Perhaps I should call State Farm insurance tomorrow.

I am starting to believe that DL has better weather forecasting capability than the NWS. Does their space debris trajectory prediction capability exceed that of NASA?

The article I read said that projections could be off by as much as an hour, which would mean a variance of up to 17000 miles for the landing area!

Close enough for the media to declare lower MI as the target.

If it must land on something, I would vote that an empty CRJ-200 be sacrificed.

The last time I was there, the buffet at the DTW SC looked like it had already hit.

Isn't avoiding Detroit as a city just good advice in general?
