In my case, I got the extra 15k MQM - which just barely put me into Diamond, with 128k MQMs now showing for last year - and my rollover miles didn't change, I am still showing 38k rollover MQMs.

I did do one thing yesterday that may (?) have been a factor, though I doubt it? Prior to noticing this change in my account, I had gone to the MQM Gift Landing page and attempted to process a transaction to add 15k MQM to my account. I did this because I expect to reach 30k in spending on my Reserve card with my upcoming statement (which usually processes on the 10th, so I didn't expect this transaction to go through just yet as I have not yet received my bonus miles either).

In fact, before seeing this thread, I assumed that action had triggered the change - and was worried because I actually need those bonus MQMs in 2017 to help maintain my Platinum status yet they seemed to have posted to 2016.

I am hoping that after the 10th, I'll still be eligible for the 15k MQM bonus for reaching the 30k spend threshold.

This is happening to anyone with a reserve card.

I got the bonus 15k MQM as well, interestingly that would have techincally been enough for me to get to diamond for 2017 but my status still reflects PM. When I click on "view prior year details" on the my skymiles page, it shows over 132k MQM.

Another interesting thing is that it states 2018 Status: MAY 08 2017 — JAN 31 2018 DIAMOND MEDALLION.

I have no idea what's going on other than to think someone/something messed up. I'll be interested to see if I'm a DM tomorrow.... Maybe Amex is rewarding us for our valuable business? :D

I was PM for both 2015, 2016 and 2017. Had two Reserve cards and earned 60,000 MQM last year that posted at the appropriate times. Got the welcome to DM email this morning and noticed that on 12/31/2016 the whole 60k MQM posted again in 4 15k chunks. I'm a DM and have the reserve card. Nothing unusual happened in my account. Current MQMs (about 64,000), prior year rollover (about 6,000), etc are all correct.

Same weirdness for me. Was 2017 PM w/ Reserve card and Platinum Business Skymiles card.

Was advised I am now '17 DM, but I now only have ~ 30k MQM's towards '18, which is no good (I had 63k MQM's yesterday and am just days away from '18 PM due to next 15k Reserve MQM's posting). There's no way I can fly 45k BIS MQMs this year, so wouldn't re-qualify for even PM for '18.

I already have lounge access, use miles for international travel so don't need GPUs, etc.. Only benefit of DM is bragging rights, a little better service and domestic upgrades I also generally wouldn't benefit from since I try to buy / redeem in First.

Will likely call Delta to get my '18 MQM's back this week if it doesn't auto-correct. In the meantime will watch this thread.

Like many of you, I got Diamond status.

Two 15K MQM deposits occurred this weekend but are credited as of Dec 31 2016.

I am Platinum with a Reserve card, though I just upgraded to the Reserve card in January. I am unaffected my this (account is normal). If the Reserve card is causing this, I figure my recent upgrade is why I am unaffected.

Nonetheless, I think the 'delete this thread' suggestions are silly. DL will figure this out, with or without this thread.

I also think I now have more drink coupons in "My Wallet" LOL. They can be printed out.
