I flew RDU-ATL-RDU last weekend on an M88/M90 and had the same experience as the OP. No announcements about staying in your ticketed cabin and no attempt to stop any Y passengers from using the F lav.

I flew two weeks ago and was even upgraded to the random D1 cabin and no announcement. I even saw someone use the F lav.
