When a flight is diverted, and not to be greedy, does one receive an extra segment, miles, and MQMs? Yesterday, landing was aborted due to low visibility and winds. After a couple circles we needed to head to another regional airport to take on more fuel, which by the way was very quick and efficient and added an extra airport to my tally list. We then returned to the desired destination just a few hours late.

If it's advertised as a dinner flight, they're required to provide you with 2 dinnerz.

Can depend. A friend a few years ago was on the DL ATL-LAX-SYD (booked as the ATL-SYD segment) flight and it went MX at LAX. They were rebooked on Virgin Australia the next day, but kept the original ATL-SYD MQM and miles, as well as the Virgin LAX-SYD miles.

The title and the OP say "when a flight is diverted." Your friend's situation isn't the same thing.
