Passport Information "Not Yet Verified" in MyProfile
Recently discussed. DL system doesnt IME save the passport correctly all the time. Only guaranteed way I've found is by using a kiosk. If checking in with agent it should save it in the system. However it only appears to be saving it for that trip.

You need to use a DL kiosk and be persistent. Trying to save it on the kiosk doesn't always work IME.

Has anyone successfully verified their passport using the Fly Delta app on their phone? Does it take a picture of the photo page? I ask because the app is telling me I can verify with kiosk or app.
My flight is not until November so I can't try this for a while.

Bump for this question as well. I'd like to try and verify my new passport via the up for an upcoming trip to CDG.

Wondering the same thing. Wife and I took a trip to Aruba in early Sept. and thought by checking in at the counter that it would resolve this issue in the app and on the website as we had to show our passports, but it still says it is not verified.

I've only ever been able to get it to save and 'verify' my passport info by using a kiosk while checking in for a domestic trip. Then it changed to 'verified' and the info is pre-saved and loaded for my international trips.
Going to an agent only seems to have it verified for that trip and doesn't update anything in your profile in the system.

Yes, you can check in at a kiosk and still see an agent for bag checking.

DL doesn't print bag tags at kiosks (except few trial locations) so its required to goto agent after checking in at kiosk..

I just used the app to scan the bar code area at the bottom of the passport that contains the passport number. After I did that, the app (and her profile) shows her as having verified her passport. I was able to obtain boarding passes for both of us for both flight segments after I uploaded the Trust Assure documents.

I was able to verify my wife's new passport when I checked in online for a LAX-ATL-CDG flight yesterday.

You were doing this during checkin yes? I wish I could verify my passport any time.

That is correct. When I checked in my wife, there was a link that required me to input her passport information. Under the passport number section, there was an option to scan the passport with the camera phone. After I did that, her new passport showed up as verified by Delta.
