Best Delta/partner flights to Tahiti
Greetings, I am surprising my wife with a trip to Tahiti/ Moorea/ Bora Bora for her birthday to do some diving/ sailing. I live in Oregon and have looked at flights. We will be buying business/first. I want to earn Delta miles with these tickets. What is the best routing for comfort/earning miles? I am planning now on flying to LAX and taking the Air France flight. It looks like angled flat seats in business??? How are these seats? Any other options I should consider. Thanks

AF is definitely your best bet for this route.
Their older business seats aren't too bad for a couple traveling together, as long as you get the 2 seats on the side and not the 3 seats in the middle. They're much better than Delta's old 767/A330 recliners - they're nearly flat and I can still get a pretty decent night's sleep in them. They're not the most premium product out there, but I still think you'll have a good trip. The AF 777s are pretty grim in standard economy, though, so this is a good route to pony up for at least premium economy or business. |
