Searched this thread and didn't see it mentioned, or in the Wiki. SEA-NRT looks to be 350 as of March 1. I noticed it when the 350 showe up in an award itin on my return from TYO next Sept. I seem to remember it being a 767, right?

You are correct, SEA-NRT-SEA has been B767-300ER for quite a long time. 2019-Mar-01 will be the start of using the A350-900XWB on the route. Delta "may" be using an A330-300 between now and March 1st on certain days, but will use the XWB full time on 2019-Mar-01 and after. Enjoy your new experiences!........btw - LAX-HND-LAX begins A350-900XWB daily service at the end of March 2019, current a/c is the A330-300 (one of the last 10 that Delta received from Airbus of this type). These last 10 (A330-300) has a longer range that their predecessors do (the first 32 that DL inherited from NW via the merger/acquisition).

N508DN (A350-900) 25-February-2019..... according to flight aware the a/c was heading to DTW from LAX, but for some strange reason, the a/c changed course and is now heading for PVG (under the same DL flight Number - 89). What happened? ....and now that it's going to spend more hrs in the air, will there be a need to land enroute for refueling?

DL B767-300ER (tail no N199DN) arrived at TLS from ATL today. My guess its over there with a few extra flight deck crew(s) to fly the last A350-900 back to ATL this year (tail number N513DZ). Its gotta be back to ATL (before 2-28) for its scheduled DL8801 flight of ATL-SEA to begin daily SEA-NRT-SEA on 1-March.

It flew the 100 newest members of the Chairman's Club over to TLS, so they can all fly back on N513DZ to ATL later today. The link below references the Gala held last November. This is the third annual trip that DL has flown the Chairman's Club members to TLS in order to fly back on an A350 being delivered to ATL.

Quick anecdote... Boarding DL133 this morning (AMS-DTW), the gate attendants repeatedly announced boarding for Premium Select. That's great and all, but 133 is on a A332. Looks like the KLM staff running the show can't keep things straight. Surprising, honestly, since the A359 isn't a super new addition to the route.

Do the A350 bulkhead seats in D1 have greater footwell room than other seats?
