And there is a list of extras I can buy including wifi and quicker boarding. Isn't this already included flying first?
I usually fly American of Alaska and things like this are included. If they are included why are they showing them to me to buy? A bit confused.

Everything is included except for wifi. The buy-ups to priority boarding, etc are standard purchase options for every flight for coach pax. I agree that they should not be populating in your reservation since you are flying F. The pop up in mine also, even though I am GM and I get all of these for free.

Thanks for the feedback. I like the idea, although I got a USB leaf blower as a gag gift for Christmas, and when i ran the idea of using it onboard past the better half, I was soundly rejected, with a comment about how she’d submit me to the passengershaming Instagram feed herself and then close the suite divider if I even considered it

I think we’re at peace with the lack of vents, though, which leaves us to decide between Row 1 and 2. I still am having trouble finding if the footwell is larger in Row 1. Does anyone have specific knowledge of whether that’s true on the 350?

In viewing Delta's schedule through the spring and summer of 2019, they appear to be filling all legs of the A350-900XWB flights up to the point they are all staying as daily legs. That's gotta be good as DL doesn't need to create any "3 time a week" or "4 times a week" routes to keep the A359 fleet up in the air making money. And the two coming on board within the next 60+ days will appear to be kept quite busy also. DL appears to be using the 2 coming in 2020 (1H) on the MSP-PVG-MSP route - If the route can be implemented using only 1 A/C, another daily leg will need to be created. Any speculations come to mind?

The annual report - due out in five or six weeks - should confirm 2 A350s in '19, 2 more in '20, and ten 'beyond' since they won't show detail by year out to 2025-26.

We should also see updated A220 commitments and counts of CR2s.

You still seem stuck on the idea that a plane does just one route, back and forth. In reality it rarely works that way

Guess I should have tried to be more informative, sorry. Yes, I am aware that a particular tail number aircraft can (and probably will) go elsewhere during its daily (or weekly) legs. That is why I stated that MSP-PVG pieces will (or might) be covered by a combination of DTW-PVG, LAX-PVG, LAX-HND, MSP-PVG interactions. So since (in the example) there are 4 round trips (8 legs), and by looking at Deltas schedule, there will be somewhere between 4 and 8 aircraft doing the segments at any given time. Based on current Deltas schedule of A350-900XWB flights, there are 14 legs (7 round trips) being done by 11 aircraft, all of which are daily legs. There will be 4 more legs being added soon for 2019 and only 2 additional A359 aircraft being added (18 legs - 9 round trips - 13 aircraft). At this point (of what I'm aware of), Delta is adding only 2 legs - 1 round trip - 2 aircraft for the 2020 calendar year. I can then venture a guess that 1 of the 2 A/C being added in 2020 will cover the MSP PVG round trip and the other can then be used as a spare (I do understand that the 15th A/C will not be the same tail number day after day, but 1 A/C will remain idle at any given time to be used somewhere within the 20 legs if a problem occurs in the 14 being used.

What was N503DN (an A350-900) doing in LAX for over 3 days? Then, just recently flew LAX-SEA and after SEA-ATL was cancelled (according to flightaware) was then scheduled ATL-ICN tomorrow (7-Feb). Kinda sounds rather serious.

I'm inclined to agree, but if they're all of a sudden ready to send it to ICN they must be confident whatever it was is fixed. could also be some IRROPS that went bad and they didn't have a way to work it into the schedule

According to flightaware, Friday (2-8-2019) and Saturday (2-9-2019) The ICN-ATL legs are making a stop in MSP with A350-900 aircraft: N507DN (on Friday) and N502DN (on Saturday). I know MSP is getting its own N/S MSP-ICN that begins 2019-April-01, but with B777-200ER's (post refitting.... aka 7HD's). Guess I'm at a loss as to the why as "diversion" word is not stated in flightaware detail. I'm staying away from doing any speculation at this point.

A 'proving' test. January 2018 I flew the 'special sections' LAS-ICN for the CES (great fares) and it did seem that the ground staff at LAS were trying things out with a new, big plane. I don't know how many wide-bodies DL handles at LAS. Of course wide-body handling isn't an issue for MSP.

Does anyone know if the two middle seats in the first row of D1 have the few extra inches of space and a larger box for your feet (like the 767s)?

I saw a reviewer say the first window seat on each side has a few extra inches but not sure if this applies to the middles as well.

thank you
