Air France Lounge in FRA

I'm traveling from FRA soon and will have a colleague traveling with me that won't be on a business class ticket. (I will be). Since FRA is a 3rd party lounge, I'll have access, but no guests. Has anyone ever used the AF lounge in Terminal 2 when needing to bring in a guest? (I'm Diamond on Delta, so it would be using the Skyteam Elite Plus benefit). Just trying to have a quiet place for the two of us to sit.

The AF lounge is classified as a partner lounge, not a third party lounge. Since it's operated by AF, it's not a contact lounge but a SkyTeam partner lounge.

Note that it's located in the schengen area of the terminal. You won't have access before a DL or other TATL flight.

Are you flying FRA to CDG on AF?

I thought STE+ allowed 1 guest?

It should, if that's the basis for lounge entry.

BTW, the AF lounge could also be used before KLM flights from FRA to AMS, AZ flights (assuming that they're still flying as part of SkyTeam) from FRA to Italy, etc.

I didn't realize it was in the Schengen area. That makes sense of course. Oh well, we are straight to the USA from FRA so it won't work. Thanks everyone though.

IIRC there is a lounge at FRA uses. In fact, it was renovated not too long ago and seems pretty decent. However, I believe that this one is a third party lounge, but it might be possible to pay for access.

Do you or your colleague have PP?

It is the Sky Lounge near D8. It's ok. You can access it with Priority Pass.
