10K or 20K Mileage Run suggestions?
Longtime listener and first time poster here. The partner and I are based in DC and still need 20K (him) and 10K (me) to hit PM again this year. We had some health issues come up these past few months and missed the mileage deals that happen late in the year. Are we toast or is there any hope left for us?

I'm also based in the DC area. My wife are doing a trip to the Christmas markets in Budapest in mid-December, DCA-JFK-CDG-BUD-AMS-DTW-DCA for $878.00 each, getting around 10,100 MQMs each.
Another place you can go for the mother lode of MQMs is Taipei; I was seeing $1,100 RT fares, and this would yield somewhere around 18,000 MQMs. Interestingly, if you stopped in Tokyo rather than continuing on to Taiwan, the fare was close to $2,000 RT.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. IAD-ATL-AMS-JNB looks like the strongest contender at $811 for 21K miles but still need an additional fast turn for a few more miles to get him to 21,600. My bad for not getting the number right the first time.

I just did >30k a couple months ago:
Repositoned myself to LAX to jump on the LAX-ATL-MSP-NRT-SIN and return.
Cost: a little over $400 using some expiring vouchers.
Result: 4 more GUCs for wife and I to use LAX-SYD
