Holy crap that's confusing. So, here's what I have:
Non D1/Upper Class
GM: US Clubhouses
PM/DM: US and LGW Clubhouses
DM/Upper Class
US, LGW, and LHR Clubhouses.
Did I get that right? It really shouldn't be this hard.

Diamond and Platinum Medallion Members can reinvigorate after your flight to London in the Virgin Atlantic Revivals Lounge, featuring showers, spa treatments, Wi-Fi, made-to-order breakfast items and clothes pressing.*

I said no thank you and left.
I think that the DL/VS joint venture dropped the ball vis a vis GMs, as they are treated like red headed stepchildren. DL is aggressively marketing VS flights through delta.com, and impliedly indicating that these are equal to Delta flights, when they are quite different.
One thing that is not clear to me is whether, if you are a Delta GM and on a VS ticket, you get any comped lounge access at all in LHR.

Hi
I'm due to fly with DL LHR -> SEA which is from T3.
I normally fly DL to ATL which is from T4 so use the SkyTeam lounge, however there isn't one in T3.
I've been told that I can't use the Virgin Club House (as you need to be Delta One or DM/PM) and that the only option is to pay to use the No 1 Traveller lounge!
Is this right, it seems really REALLY dumb for Delta to treat their GM members like this!

You get access to the No. 1 Lounge in LHR T3 if you are flying between LHR and the US. I don't know if that applies if you are flying on a VS ticket between the UK and non-US destinations.

To add to the system's complexity: no guests in Revivals, no matter what. PM/DM in J can bring a guest to the LHR Clubhouse; if they are not travelling in J they (and GM's) can bring a guest to the No.1 Lounge.
