MDQ fun!
 

I am currently sitting at 112,245 MQMs and $14,567 MQDs - roughly 13k miles and $433 shy of DM.

I just had to buy a short notice ticket from DEN to PDX for tomorrow (in First), which is going to add 2279 MQMs (putting me at 114,524), and $432 MQDs - putting me at $14,999.

Pretty inconsiderate for them to not make the ticket $1 more!

That is hilarious. I am sure you will fly again soon though.. Not a bad price for first class. Perhaps you can find one of those amazing deals where you can upgrade to C+ for 40.00 more..from first...

I am searching now to see if I can locate an itinerary that will earn me 10,476 MQMs and $1 MQD.

Not having much luck.

There is a flight that has 2 stops in SLC and SEA that will net you $452 MQDs and 2,534 MQMs Tommorow. Not so sure if it is worth it right now to do this as you will easily get DM on your next flight.

EDIT: Didn't realize your MQM numbers, you still need 10,000 more MQMs as you stated above

Yep, I think I am pretty safe though. Looking at my upcoming schedule, it seems likely that in August I will have to fly PDX-SFO RT (twice), PDX-EWR RT, PDX-JFK RT, maybe PDX-MCO RT, and possibly a RT to MIA or FLL.

If all of that comes through, I will be close to 140K by this time next month.

We do this for fun, right? :)

If you found a trip $X01.00, you could use "Pay With Miles" for the few $X00 dollars, and pay the remaining $1 with your CC - wouldn't this net 1 MQD? :D

I will do EF still showing F0 but I do now have Gold status with UA so I am unlikely to get kicked out of my F seat
