Once registered to complete enrollment bring one state approved ID to the enrollment center. You will need a valid, unamended US passport or passport card, US-issued Permanent Resident Card, a valid US driver's license, state-issued photo ID card, or a military ID. Once your identity is verified, they will scan your finger prints and get a picture of your iris.
This process takes about 5-7 minutes and can be done before a flight.
Costs:
Keep in mind Family add-on fee is just $50
You may also wish to peruse this thread in the Trusted Travelers forum: Is CLEAR worth $179 a year? (it goes beyond the question in the title, the answer to which is obviously "no" given the above pricing )

Give them a call to reactivate and give them your SkyMiles number. You shouldn't have to redo the biometrics.

Clear is reminding me of what precheck used to be when it was restricted to only to those who had a TTN or had status.
I wish they would just stop giving away precheck at Random and limit it to those with a TTN. Not only would the lines be shorter they would move a lot faster since you wouldn't have to deal with the clueless flyers holding up the line.

CLEAR ME always has issues with my biometrics and that has caused no little problem when flying out of CLEAR ME airports.
I just came in from flying all night SCL-ATL and went to the B lounge to update my biometrics so no problems next week at DC forward.
The CLEAR ME person in B just now said they only do enrollments here. That is not true because I have updated my biometrics here before.
She says let DCA update me but then that defeats the purpose of getting in the CLEAR ME lane at DCA.
I am only home for 36 hours and I doubt it is worth coming back to B Tuesday morning (OKC-ATL-DCA) to see if a different CLEAR ME agent will help.

I don't quite follow. While it would have been nice if you could have done this during your layover, why couldn't you update them at DCA and then immediately use it? It will take a tiny bit of extra time but then you'll be set going forward.

I typically find that the regular TSA Pre check line is faster than the CLEAR line, although CLEAR is pretty cool! On a recent flight, the TSA Pre line was pretty long, and CLEAR saved me 20 minutes or so, so thanks Delta!

I have not flown out of DCA in years but I assume it is a TSA nightmare and having to essentially register CLEAR before I can get to the Pre-Check line seems not a good way to defeat the purpose of CLEAR.

My point of reference is that when CLEAR cannot confirm my biometrics that I would most often have been better to just go straight Pre-Check.

A recent DP at JFK is my wife went through TSA Pre and I went through CLEAR and she beat me by a few minutes.

Good suggestion. My last few times once it finally read my fingers, it gave me a “member not found” message. That’s what finally pushed me to insist on eyes, which work fine for me. But that’s usually still slower than just showing my DL if there is no line.

That's what the CLEAR staff is for; I hand them my phone and enter the PC line and the CLEAR agent walks my phone over to the TDC who approves it (w/o even seeing me face-to-face most of the time, so that tells you how much of a joke that is) then the CLEAR agent returns my phone to me.
