Same here. I sat next to a deadheading pilot a few years back who commented on this, recommending to always keep shoes on during takeoff & landing.

I flew in 77A on a 747-400 from ICN-DTW and very much liked the seat. I did end up a little hungry as between the first meal and the last meal were about ten hours and all that was available for snacks were rice crackers, cashews, apples and other cold nibbles. Still, great product seat and IFE wise. I'd be happy to fly it again.

The Japanese meal is great, you can pre-order if you want since it's limited by calling or via twitter.
