An FA flirting with a passenger?
As a DM, I do spend a lot of my time sitting on DL airplanes. Luckily most of the time is spent in either the FC or D1 cabin, sometimes paying and sometimes with a comp UG. But in the past 30 years, i have never before witnessed what I saw yesterday!
I boarded a flight from LAX to MSP at 2:45 PM PDT and for the next 4 hours until we arrived at 8:40 PM CDT, a male FA actually CONSTANTLY FLIRTED with the female passenger seated next to me in FC! Not that it matters, but he was 45-50 and she was 35-40. I have seen a few male passengers flirt with FA's over the past 30 years, but has anyone ever actually seen the opposite? |

I had an overnight "offer" from a FA on a MAD - JFK flight a few years back.
The crew received a system message from a DL executive vp to make sure I had a good trip. The FA must have thought I was someone special! Unfortunately, I had to point out my 12 year old traveling companion! |

If the pax next to the OP was a female, surely, it wasn't flirtation! ;) ;) |
If a female FA wants my bod, I'd be glad to listen...most of us just leave the attention on the plane when we leave...
FA like to pass the time having fun also, but they know the world moves on, and who wants the baggage. |
In before the lock.

Actually, I am surprised that the atmosphere on most flights are so "intense" and interactions amongst seat mates or flight crew are rare rather than norm. I am usually a great conversationalist elsewhere but on a plane, I felt obliged to hunker down and keep quiet. All those love's in the air shown in movies are apparently just movies.
A great comparison would be the atmosphere of a school library just before some major papers.... 'Ssssssshhhhh" |
Yep! I got numbers from both male and female FAs especially when sitting in FC. One time I got a delta business card with their phone number written in the back. Usually they give me their number on the coke napkins as we are landing. I never follow up but it's fun playing the flirting game on board. Maybe there's something on the manifest about me or something?

Define "flirting".

I had a Pinnacle FA once invite me back to her hotel in Omaha. The idea I was not flying her entire line for the day was lost, we parted ways in MSP, my ticketed destination.

They can flirt all they want as long I continue to receive my beer replinshments in a timely manner. However, if my beer is delayed because someone is trying to get their rocks off, we'll that is where I draw the line :D

Happened to me a few years ago. Male FA flirted with me on a UA flight from DEN-PHX. Gave me some bottles of Glenlivet to take home, let me know his layover plans in PHX, some subtle hints etc. I wasn't into it but I know it's hard to put yourself out there so I saw no reason to be hurtful.
