Automatic upgrade % out of PIT
Hello, I was considering switching from AA to Delta. I am platinum with AA, averaging just over 60 segments each year. I was curious if there were other members in that same status based out of PIT and how often they get upgraded? I'm not a fan of the new AA system. When I was with US Airways, I was getting upgraded automatically on probably 80% of my flights, not so much since the merger.

Your AA Plat translates to GM with DL, which already has a revenue-based earning scheme but doesn't require "stickers" for upgrades (yet).
I wouldn't expect many upgrades as a GM, although a lot depends on the routes and days of the week/times of the day that you travel, not just the fact that you're based at PIT.

My wife is at 30% as GM. Rarely on good flights.
I'm at about 80% as DM, but rarely at the window any more. Lots of them at the gate.
In the old days they would clear at the window. I was at 75% as PM for 2 years and then 95% as DM for the last 4-5 years. But times are a changin......and not in a good way.
