Volunteers needed experience at Pudong airport
During online checkin I got a popup indicating volunteers are needed for a flight from Shanghai to Narita and to check with the gate agent if interested.
Anyone have past experiences to share.
The gate agents in Shanghai usually have very limited English speaking ability based on the last time I had questions, so I am wondering how negotiations would work for volunteering.

Just learn about 20 words of Chinese (basic numbers and a couple of phrases) and haggle. Its part of what being in Shanghai is about.
