D1 B767-300 vs A300-300

Dear Delta D1 Flyers,

Tried a search on this topic ... no luck.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts on D1 on B767-300 vs A330-300 for flight options to Europe.

And are the D1 seats any different between A330-300 and A330-200?

Thanks for your help (limited experience on TALT).

DL doesn't fly the A300, but they do fly the A330.

the seats are basically the same, but the configuration is different.

the A330 is commonly regarded as a better ride, because of the reverse herringbone seating configuration.

if you choose the 763, my favorite seat is 1A, it's quite private relative to the rest of the cabin and has wider footwells than some of the other seats.

Delta doesn't fly the A300. Do you mean the A330? If so, the A330 (both -200 and -300) D1 seats are much better than those on the B767-300.

If I had the choice, I would always take the A330 over the 767. The 767 seats are abysmal.

I dont even think is a fair comparison. The A330 seats are substantial improvement, not so much an opinion but a fact. Hate the 767 coffins.

The foot well in the 767 is more cramped than the A330. It's my least favorite J seat in the DL fleet.

And it depends on the type of 763. I intentionally steered onto routes with just the A330 for our upcoming trip, because they look and sound like the overall better seat. But it sounds like not all 763s are created equal. Obviously row 1 has the more spacious foot wells, but some versions have lavs forward of the J cabin, and some J cabins are smaller, just limiting the amount of seats available.
