I was going to order a premium drink using miles, but someone did PDM. Premium Drink Monetization.

But at which rate, 100 mi = $1 or 100 mi = one premium drink?

if I had been any kind of alert I would have included a picture of the sign on the bar (but a 345am shuttle van pickup -- esp after only about 4 hrs of fitful dozing, after about 3 hrs of monitoring flights to find decent options in event of IROPS recovery -- is not a good way to start the day) ... yes 5.5 hrs in D1 helped, but I'm still nowhere near 100%

This was in msp on Sunday. Hopefully the attachment works.

There was a guy in there last Thursday training the bartenders on it.

^ thanks!

I love that they spelled out the conversion for various specific amounts instead of simply saying $1 per 100 miles redeemed

I know...I wondered how high they were going to go before they realized we aren't idiots.

It wasn't listed on the delta miles for liver disease conversion chart, but the cost for drinks between $42-$50 is a ham sandwich.

Horrible redemption rate, but given that I sadly dont have any big leisure trips coming up this might not be a bad deal. 50,000 miles for a $300 flight to Florida or 50,000 miles for 70 cocktails.

They were trying to be helpful for the math-impaired individuals or just in case you have a loooooong stay at the bar, it can get confusing after a while so the table can get handy

After visiting LAX a few weeks ago, I believe the 2cpm rate now applies to all beverages.
