KLM is known for locking seat maps 72 hrs befor . Not sure why they do it, and AFAIK they're the only airline to do so.

As a good friend and DL MM said to me a couple years ago, when it comes to KLM "It is not possible."

Then they changed their tune and said C+ was only paid and that I had not paid for it, then they came back (after I reminded them Diamonds get them complimentary) and said the plane was full and they had no seat. I was at the KLM lounge @ AMS twice last year, and the food was, indeed, pretty forgettable.
It certainly isn't the Virgin Lounge at LHR; I'd rate that as "very good". |
