32,500 is the new low mileage award?

looking at an award flight in the fall domestic. all flights are showing N fare class at the new (low) level of 32,500.

WHAT HAPPENED TO 25,000??

so now we are earning less miles based on $ fare not distance. And not long after mileage award levels are going up??

Keep Climbing Delta!

When is R. Anderson last day? We should have an FT party. I volunteer to host in NYC!!

Checked various dates in Oct., Nov., Dec. for DTW-LAX. N still showing as 25K miles roundtrip. Perhaps you could provide actual details instead of rants.

Can you provide more specifics? This is not true across the board; I see plenty of transcontinental flights that still price at 12500 each way (for example, MCO-SEA), so an exact route would help determine if the base price for a route has been raised or if there is simply no availability released at the lowest level.

Could be.

Always, ALWAYS, check each way vs RT.

Could the JFK-LAX/SFO transcons be involved, or do they just cost more in D1?

You nailed it. my bad for jumping to conclusions.

Details are NYC-MSY for those that asked. I'll keep trying as a one way rt as is "best practice" 9/1 or 9/2 departure w/ 9/5 return.

happy valentine's day!

I would not expect to find a Low fare bucket on Labor Day. Ever. Be happy if I did, but would not have any expectation that Delta would offer Low.

Have you considered pay with miles?

I recently got a ticket IAD-PBI and return for 20,000 miles + $3.20. I'll earn MQMs as a result.

MSP-LAX was available at 25K r/t, or 50K in F for my desired dates in May. I think that may have been with a red-eye home, so not worth it to me.
But to the point just above, I could have done MSP-LAX on good flight times for 25K + $36.20 and still earned over 3,000 mqms. I decided to just pay the $286 fare since that is quite a decent n.s. r/t fare, and save the miles for occasional tix for my kettle partner.

Got a one way flight for 12,500 miles. Saw a couple one way flights (leisure destinations) for 7,500 miles.

award pricing weirdness

looked up DCA-CVG one-way for 17 Mar, found the morning and evening flights in N at 10k and the two mid-day flights in N at 17.5k ... thought it might be time-of-day related, but the F offerings belie that
