Unofficial SkyMiles Calculator has disappeared

I'm talking about this one:

https://fly.qux.us/smcalc/

I get a "Not Found" message when I try to access the site.

Bad news if this is permanent; I use that calculator all the time, even though it's no longer valid for RDM.

You can still use http://cwsi.net/calc/ to see how many MQM you'll earn

First time I've used this site, and although I get the MQMs to match with what I was awarded, the Bonus Miles do not. For example, on my last trip from SFO>ATL>GCM>ATL>SFO, the Calculator shows 7,864 Bonus Miles, but DL.com shows two sets of Miles...Base Miles 4,515 and Bonus Miles 5,418. So does the Calculator show the Base Miles and the Bonus Miles added together, in which case I would have 9,933 Total Miles as DL.com shows, or is the 7,864 Calculator Bonus Miles higher than DL's Bonus Miles due to something else that I'm not taking into consideration?

This site http://cwsi.net/calc/ does not match the award miles (SkyMiles) because it is probably working on the old system where SkyMiles was awarded based on distance. I noticed it does not ask for fare price which is how Delta now awards the SkyMiles (award miles). MQM is still based on distance and cabin type so that is why it is accurate.

It is better than nothing, but you cannot check multiple trips at once...

Anyone know, why fly.qux.us/smcalc/ is offline?

Just do a dummy booking. It tells you how many MQM and Miles you will earn. I mean, I am sure you look up the price of the fare anyway so the info is right there in front of you

You can't do that if you are flying with the partner airlines outside of the US, eg RUH - CDG etc

I've PM'd the creator of the Calculator and will let you know if I hear back from him.

This is cumbersome and only allows you to check one reservation at a time. That unofficial calculator was awesome because you could enter in an unlimited amount of segments and see MQM's. Around mid-year I often used that to enter in my anticipated travel for the rest of the year to see if I would make status again. While it no longer worked for RDM's, I would expect that most people don't care about that as much as MQM's.

I always get the info from delta.dumb to make sure I'm looking at DL's current miles numbers for various routes, which sometimes change and are not necessarily the same as great circle miles and other nonDL-specific sources.

Sorry for the downtime folks - I switched Unofficial Skymiles Calculator to https and it's back up now.
