How did I get upgraded this far out?
I checked my upcoming trip for Thursday, and it's showing me in F for the
LAX-OAK leg. It was booked in C+. I rarely get an upgrade as Gold, and never this far out. It it a mistake, or did I just get really lucky?

The upgrade window for golds is three days out, so this sounds about right, as it's usually three calendar days, rather than 72 hours, and may very well be slightly more. A few weeks ago I got an upgrade email on a Wednesday for a Sunday flight.

The upgrade Windows open at 5PM Eastern 6/4/2 days before departure. So today would be the day Golds begin getting upgraded for Thursday flights.
