Only if you're unlucky.

OTOH, all the machines at the airport are definately tight.

LAS - aforementioned reasons
SEA - 40 minutes on light rail to downtown
PDX - same as SEA
MIA/FLL both not a long cab ride to the beach
LAX same as MIA/FLL
SAN - 5 minute cab ride to downtown, 20 mins to beach
MSP - aforementioned reasons

If you are truly not going to leave the airport, I'd say MSP, LAS, or SEA are the best. Maybe PIT like mentioned.

SAN is borderline walking distance from downtown (or cheap uber) and is a 10 minute walk from a couple places to get food or drink with great views.

There's also a bus (perhaps the 992?) from the airport to downtown. Takes 15 minutes or less. You can buy a $5 day pass on an app on your phone. (I was just in SAN a couple of months ago visiting)

If you want to do a day shopping trip Chicago is a good choice. A train trip to the loop is a little over 30 minutes from MDW (not sure if they still have the LGA/MDW flight or not) or around 45 minutes each way from ORD. Trains stop at both airports and you don't need to switch lines and plenty of shopping and dining in the loop

Nashville airport (BNA) has live music and a couple good bars. The Yazoo brewery island is a good place to people watch for a while.

You missed DTW.

LAX is borderline walkable to In-n-Out burgers, also near the water.

For architecture, I'd pick LAX (the round thing in the middle), STL, DTW, and JFK (the old TWA international terminal), not necessarily in that order.

Some folks like MEM for the BBQ.

BNA would be a good choice because of the music and walkability. It’s got a SkyClub. You could definitely kill a couple of hours there.

SLC would also be a good choice. I like the mountain views throughout the airport and there’s a lot of walking around you can, plus an overcroweded SkyClub you can visit.

If you’re into checking off your bucket list and havn’t been to IAD you could come in and ride the ridiculous people movers for a while and rejoice that you’re not counted with the UA folks beholden to them. No SkyClub, but there are some PP Lounges. Plus, a short Uber ride away is the good Air and Space Smithsonian which houses the SR-71 and Space Shuttle. They’ve also recently started building up their Blimp display. The Goodyear capsule is there, as well as the Red Bull balloon capsule.

Let's not forget ATL and their flight museum, including the new 747 exhibit. There's a small store in at the museum.

I believe the PC term is pre-pubescent rodent worshipers.

Thank you. I guess the Mouse is a religion, or at least a cult.

Boston is fairly close to downtown. If international, I would suggest AMS, where there is a casino, library, museum, and park inside the airport. I would have used it, but I planned on being there for 8 hours and I had enough time to go into town, have lunch, and wander around. Years ago (1995), in Gatwick, they had a trial of a motion seating system where you could watch a movie and the seats would move with it.

Definitely something to consider. DL isn't as bad as WN though. I have a personal policy never to fly WN to MCO on a Friday.
