Upgrades on Award Tickets at Check In
I have purchased an award ticket to London on the 16th of this month (last minute decision to spend my birthday away from home).
In the past I've been offered, at check-in, the ability to purchase an upgrade to business class if there is space available. The last time I did this was last year (in April), but on a paid ticket to London.
1. Is Delta still offering these types of "upgrades"?
2. Would this also be available on an award ticket?

Complimentary upgrades on award tickets still happen for 'domestic' routes. For transcons and long-haul you need to upgrade the difference in mileage. Cash upgrades are only for cash tickets. (You can also apply globals and regionals to cash tickets)
