Boarding "Music"
Waiting for take-off MSY-LAX this evening and being tortured with Muzak versions of Taylor Swift and Sia songs. What's THAT all about? Play something classical. Or soothing. Or NOTHING.
But this is yucky. Bose head-phones coming on NOW 😏

They can't please everyone. What you prefer others will not. I'm not a fan of classic, so I'd probably come here and post a complaint about them playing classical.

Industrial psychology says to play "peppy" music when you want people to move faster.
Recall the Seinfeld "sausage making" episode.

Even the title of this gives me horrific flashbacks to a Boxing day flight LGW to PEK with CA, where the tackiest cover of "Jingle Bells", sung with the best Chinglish accent that could be mustered, played on loop for over an hour between boarding and eventual take off. I cried tears of joy on getting to the runway.
Sorry, let me scuttle back to my *A corner.

I'm glad you bought noise canceling headphones, you really seem to use them effectively.

Hopefully it's not a twee/coy/nonchalant-sounding girl constantly singing:
"oh uh uh oh" "uh oh oh oh" "oh oh UH oh"
over and over. That was a big phase for a while.
P.S.: where is Otis Redding when you really need him?

Yuck! At least play the original versions. I get they're trying to be modern and catchy, but come on, as a Taylor Swift fan I don't like variations.
A classic calming music is the primary choice though. Anything with too much spazz seems like it would make everyone impatient.
