If I'm on the PNR but not the purchaser do my medallion benefits apply?
My search skills have failed me as I cannot find an answer to the question in the subject.
My wife is looking at using her miles to book award travel for us (prices are the same if I look or she looks) but she has no Medallion status. Do we get the benefits of my medallion status even though I'm not the purchaser of the tickets? I'm mostly concerned about checked bags and preferred seats as the trip isnt going to change once we book it.

Biggest benefit you will NOT get is the ability to redeposit award tickets for free. That requires that the miles come from the DM or PM account.
You will receive flight benefits though (C+, bags, SkyPriority, etc).

If you can enter your DL FF number, you and companion wife should be eligible for free elite upgrades on any domestic segments, assuming that no one else is on the same PNR.
