Since some of these Delta Amex events have been quite nice, perhaps a wiki is needed. Plus, if FT users can check the below link with their SkyMiles number and update the wiki or this thread with events in their home town it sure would help out:

The first was covered on FT and the second I think not.

A couple years ago there were two very nice dinners scheduled at a "hot" new restaurant in Minneapolis which closed on those evenings so that the DL/AmEx event took over the entire place. At the time, I was told that the criteria for invitation (you needed to RSVP immediately and IIRC there was a charge which was less that a dinner there would have cost) were DM or PM AND a DL AmEx (Reserve?) credit card.

Nothing currently for a PM with Plat DL Amex in Atlanta.
As a data point, I also did not get an invite to the John Legend event at the DL Museum. However, I had a friend who was either FO or GM at the time and had a DL Gold Amex - she got the invite (and went - apparently was a great event).
Some of the events also don't require registration. During the King of Pops promo, you just had to walk up to a cart and show your Amex.
