Delta Award Pricing: Connection vs Direct
I came across something that was strange to me.
Connecting flights that cost less miles than the same flight.
For Example,
lan-dtw-sea On August 3rd 5:50 PM-9:50PM-11:35 PM Prices out at 12,500
miles
DTW-SEA on August 3rd at 9:50 PM prices out at 25,000 miles.
I've seen this on revenue flights but not award tickets. Is this the new normal with Delta awards?
