Anyone receive the new Skymiles survey email?

Got one today, pays 250 miles for completing but more importantly it asks very pointed questions about your satisfaction level with the program. It also asks you to suggest how to improve it.

I did one of those a short while back (around last September), and never got the bonus miles.

Wasn't worth pursuing, but is really stupid of Delta to promise something and not do it. (par for the course, I realize).

Just received it today. They asked about my level of satisfaction with the Skymiles program in general, the medallion elite benefited, ease of using the miles, and do I read travel/frequent flyer blogs.

I got the survey, and completed while sitting in a deadly boring meeting.

I said that I wanted to hear more stories about Bubbles. Where has the lil snot nose street urchin been anyway?

Like everyone else mentioned, they asked a lot of questions about other airlines, and how often you used them, and your frequent flyer status with other airlines.

What's the point? SkyPesos, by design and with malice aforethought, is the worst program of the US cartels. The Freddie's and other surveys confirm this yearly - now DL is feigning interest in making SM suck less? Uh-huh...

Is "Quit lying" one of the possible answers?

Got it yesterday and immediately completed it.

Gave DL mixed reviews. Props for ability to earn miles but absolutely slammed them on having a bloated number of elites that dilute the value of elite status as well as the absurdly ridiculous difficulty in redeeming miles at a reasonable rate for award tickets to anywhere someone actually wants to go.

A lot of questions on ability to earn and redeem miles, comparison to other airlines programs and perceptions of MQMs.

My take is DL is getting the message that they may have a problem with overall satisfaction with the SM. I'm sure the results of this will be used to roll out the 2016 "enhancements" to the program. We'll probably get a couple of things we like and they'll take away things they think we don't care about.
