Upcoming travel, 8 days out. Purchased FCM for LGA-PWM leg (purchased awhile ago). I would not place any meaning at all on the error message.

It COULD be that they are looking at an equipment change and thus freezing seat assignments. It COULD be DL IT at it finest. It COULD be well who knows.

Just keep an eye on it is all you can or need to do as of now. You could call in, but likely just wasting your time.
