Leaving Baggage at LAX Question
Flying ATL-LAX in July. Planning a quick same day r/t LAX-SBP trip on UA after I get there and I don't want to haul my checked bag on the r/t. I wanted to get people's advice on if I leave it on the belt and just come get it later that night. I'll be back at LAX before 10p.

At LAX (or almost any airport) there is no way I would leave a bag on the belt. LAX is very busy and I do not know how long the DL baggage service office clears bags. Baggage theft is a major problem at LAX - LAS as well (my home).
Just bring a carry-on or ship your bag to your final destination via UPS/FED EX Ground.

wow, that's a great service. Definitely going to use it. Thanks!! I'll use their pick up service at the airport and then once I get my car I'll swing by to pick the suitcase up.
