Korean Air flight, delays in SkyMiles credit?

Flew a paid Business class ticket on KE in late April, with my SkyMiles number in my account and still nothing has posted. Anyone experience lengthly post times between KE and DL? I tried searching and nothing really relevant appeared. Sorry if this is being discussed already.

From my experience, over the last year+ KE flights almost never post automatically to DL anymore, even though the SM # is on the reservation, printed on the boarding pass, etc.

Every time after a KE flight doesn't post some 2 weeks after flight I end up having to contact DL and asking for them to post it manually.

Not sure is it that KE is not submitting the data to DL, or that DL is blocking it/ignoring it. But, either way, more often than not expect KE flights not to post automatically and for you to have to request mileage credit - so always save those KE boarding passes and the full ticket receipt that has the fare class info (VERY important, as many fare classes don't quality for credit, so you need that to prove that your fare class does qualify for SM credit).

Thanks, and what a hassle it is to retroactively request these miles. For real? Fax or snail mail? It's been 3 weeks, so I guess I better get to it, if I want my miles. I booked and flew Business class.

You can scan in your boarding pass and print to PDF the KE receipt (make sure it's the full receipt that has the fare basis and the actual fare classes displayed; if you don't have it, you can request it from KE - they can provide it to you before flight, but not sure if still so after) and then submit the credit request via the online form and upload the PDF attachment(s).

I was rebooked onto KE in IROPs and the miles for the KE segment didn't post. After about two weeks, I called the DM line. The agent (I might have been passed onto a SkyMiles agent or perhaps the DM agent called them, but on the first attempt I was told to call back during the hours when some SkyMiles office was open) could see the flights immediately and told me that she was putting in a request for the credit. About a day later my miles and MQMs (I was rebooked using a DL codeshare number) psoted as expected.

Easy and no need in my case to send in receipts and boarding passes.

If DL sees the KE flights flown, this would seem to be an indication that DL is not posting/creding the KE flights by design. (In my case also, often no need for the receipt and the flights just got posted after the request. This would make it appear that KE is transmitting the data to DL, but DL is sitting on it and is blocking it from posting. )

Thanks everyone, I have no status with DL, but I'll call SkyMiles and see what they can do. To be clear, this was not a DL codeshare flight.

Then are you sure it's eligible to earn miles? check the fare class on the miles earning partner charts on delta.dumb.

Yes I'm sure, I did my homework. I was in paid C class which would earn 100% mileage credit, but not MQM's.
