Advice needed DFW-BKK - DL or AS miles?

Advice needed DFW-BKK - DL or AS miles?
I no longer have status on AS or DL. A 20k mile trip to BKK on DL apparently is going to yield a couple of thousand miles on DL. Impressive. So should I put in my AS number? I see that only gives 50% miles on a V fare this year. Better I guess. DL miles are useless anyway.
Other points - I have an Amex Plat so I can get in the DL Clubs en route.
I have a Delta Gold Amex card so I can get another bag - or can I? I don't understand that. It says the first bag is free, but the first two are free to BKK anyway from what I can see.
I have hundreds of thousands of both airline's miles. So the more miles the better and I prefer miles on AS anyway.
What am I missing I wonder? Having been Gold on both these airlines for years I am having to get real about what the average punter has to put up with. I wish AA had matched this fare is all I can say. $671. In the old days it would have been a great mileage fare. Now it is a way to make a trip I need to make cheap.

$671 are good price, mind if you share the date? I might take a trip at that price.
For lounges, yes you can use Amex Plat at Skyclub on DL same day flights.
Cheat Sheet.
DFW use AMEX
NRT use SC with AMEX or KE with PP (If you want some Hennessy XO)
BKK use CIP with PP
DL gold AMEX will not get you more bags. 1st ever bag not the 1st additional bag.

If you aren't chasing DL status, credit to AS. For the time being that will be much more flexible for redemption options.
IIRC, unless he credits to DL (where the DL Amex is tied) the DL Gold card won't get Zone 1 boarding either.

Fare came and went and came back and went the other day. All AA hubs. Must have been having a tiff with the AA missus I guess. Tons of inventory for way out.
I had wondered if Amex Gold bag was the first ever bag. Useless basically.
I'll switch to my AS number. I'm half a million away from a million so I will never get it. At the rate I am flying on DL it would be decades till I got MM. Doesn't help to be half way there.
