Did I fix that for you?

Why does anyone really care whether the other passengers in FC are physically attractive or not? Personally, I'd rather not be surrounded by stupid people, no matter how cute they are. Being well-dressed is a bit different as implies that the clothing isn't dirty and it doesn't smell bad.

You would think DL was smarter since they know my home airport. They sent me a promotion with zero routes out of DC.
They sent me a promotion with no flights on the sample list from my home airports, but when I checked I did find some (including one I took advantage of for ease of SDC).

IIRC there were flights TO NYC on the list. Did you try to make these work in reverse?

It was a joke. Sort of.

No, because I didn't really care. I just looked for the flights I plan to take, to see which of those had the promotion running.

Is this F sale the same as this news article?

LAX to SJC, $234 round trip. Only $5 more than economy.

No. but there is some overlap. The F class sale in the news article applies to a group of cities for the weekend of their respective gay pride festivities. The cities include SLC, NYC (June 21 to 30), SEA (June 25-30), MSP (June 25-30), and LAX.

The fare is only attractive in the sense that the coach fare is so darn high, that anyone should buy-up to the G-fare. I see SAN-MSP for $554 rt on the sale weekend, which is only semi-warm. SAN-NYC is over $1,000 and SAN-SEA is $446. In short, the fare is useless unless one is flying to those cities anyway. It's like Delta raised the coach fare to make the F fare look good (but not really; this is getting into peak summer travel season and fares are high.)

Like the regular first class sale, a Saturday night stay is required.

Overall, this "sale" is nothing more than some semi-decent "G" fares that are bookable anytime on Delta. Example: SAN-(SEA)-PDX one-way for $222 in G in October. That is bookable but isn't part of the sale.

This is the sale that ain't.

...sadly I often find myself surrounded by stupid people, especially in DL FC. Often they are trying to shove their roll-a-board with 3 DM tags the wrong way into the two seat side of a MD88/90. They either end up slamming it in sideways or seem bewildered when I or an FA point out it would fit better on the 3 seat side...

I am also surrounded by the stupid people in FC that rush to board, often passing everyone, only to hold up the line on the plane due to lack of preparation... Tinkle or get off the pot....

...sadly, I have learned that stupid has no class, nor a set income bracket ...And supposedly experienced flyers do not seem immune from the stupid virus

And to quote Jimmy Buffett, "there's no dumbass vaccine".....

We did buy tickets through this sale - had been contemplating a weekend trip to NYC and $318 was a decent price, so we booked.

Not through the app, as we'd hoped - since that stupid thing is STILL crashing - but that's another thread
