Max. SDC?
so let's say if i book SEA-BOS in G so I can SDC to any flight in the day that has any F seat available or Y seat...
how many connection you can add. i.e confirm to SEA_LAX_BOS, upon arrive to LAX change to LAX_SLC_BOS.... how much can you add with this method? Since i know SDC override a bunch of fare rules like an exception policies will it be a new re-issue everytime therefore I can keep adding? extreme case SEA_LAX_SFO_SLC_DTW_MSP_ATL_CVG_BOS? |
Just because the flights only require F1 availability doesn't mean you can override the routing rules in the fare (except maybe in an IRROPs situation). So, no, you can't just add whatever random segments you feel like. The flights still have to be a valid routing for your ticket.

I have done SDC 4x in one day due to changing personal emergency in 2014. No one had any issue. No problems. No questions.

Can't avoid our old friend, the routing rules. Which you can't see after booking anymore. David |

I think he wants to SDC from, lets say, SEA/JFK/BOS to SEA/LAX/ATL/BOS Then, when he gets to LAX, SDC to LAX/MSP/ATL/BOS Then, when he gets to MSP, SDC to MSP/MIA/DTW/BOS . . . . . . . . |

I hava feeling that you don't understand what the OP wants to do. . . .

SDC does not override routing rules. They are still in effect. So no, this is not possible.
after SEA_LAX change to LAX_SLC_BOS, since new ticket number and re-issue perhaps the 2 connections max will refresh the limit? |

so if what i thought was if you SDC after you depart, SEA_LAX_BOS
after SEA_LAX change to LAX_SLC_BOS, since new ticket number and re-issue perhaps the 2 connections max will refresh the limit? Last week I did a SDC from an early morning flight to an afternoon flight. Later that day, I called to try to change it to something else, and the first thing the agent said was . . . Oh, I see you already did an SDC this morning! In your case above, sure, there'll be a new ticket number, but it'll still show the point of origin from the previous leg that you just flew. |

I would extremely doubt it.

were u able to SDC tho?
But, my point was, that, they can - and will - surely see that if you're flying from A - B - C, and you get off the plane at B, and NOW try to fly from B to X to C, they will surely see that your ticket is from A to C - period, and not allow it, unless there's something in the fare rules that allows this particular double connection. |
