Craft beer on Delta (International)

I know they made a big deal of having craft beer on domestic flights recently. But in a recent twitter chat with them they mentioned that craft beer is not available on international flights.

Does anyone happen to remember what beers were on board their transatlantic flight recently? (route will be SEA-LHR, but I imagine it's mostly the same from all stations)

Cheers,
S.

When you searched for on board beverages/food items on delta.com, what did it say? ;)

Aviatorzz, it doesn't say anything. There's a lovely section of what wines are onboard, but nothing about spirits or beer on international legs.

I keep seeing small cans of Heineken offered as PDBs on TATL BE flights.

International flights seem to be somewhat regionally inspired. I don't know about Europe, but a SEA-PEK flight had Tsingtao beer in addition to the Bud/Miller offering. They did not have the Blue Moon, however.

I have enjoyed Sam Adams exit LHR, GIG and GRU in the past couple of months.

Heineken is not close to being craft.

I think the craft beer was only on selected routes, LAX-SFO, LAX/SFO-JFK and some of the eastern shuttles.

I had a Ballast Point Sculpin IPA on my JFK-LAX flight in Jan. By far the best beer I've had on an airplane (unless you count stuff I brought on pre 9/11 :) )

That's now on all domestic routes too. ^

Page 140 of Sky Magazine has the current beer offerings for most routes. International, however, doesn't list anything different so they don't seem to advertise local market beers.
