Seat map colors
So, the Comfort+ seats appear in light blue, with preferred seats in navy blue and plebeian seats in white.
EC used to be green, right? So, OK, blue. |
I'm looking at a flight on the app for the middle of this month and EC is still green, preferred sky blue, and other coach seats white, with occupied seats gray with Xs. Open FC seats are all white, while those that are taken are the same gray with Xs as reserved seats in coach.

Interesting... Mine show light blue and dark blue. Maybe you have not installed the update from today

I don't understand why C+ is now designated as a lighter shade of blue. What was wrong with green to begin with? [That is, unless we're debating that it's green and blue instead of blue and blue ;)]
Also, on the DL app and online, I'm seated in the "Main Cabin" even though I'm in C+. Is this a bug? |
the "Main Cabin" is a bug...
I prefer the old green to the light blue. Made it easier to distinguish. I imagine in time I will get used to it. |
Must be the difference with today's Android app update. My phone app which updated today now shows light & darker blue compared to my GalaxyTab that hasn't updated yet, still showing light blue & green.

Noticed this too.
I wonder how many pages we can get going on this color change :D |

When I looked at the "upgraded" reservation page this morning, I couldn't believe DL renamed the default ticket choice to "Main Cabin." With no explanation. Are we to believe that the average Kettle is going to know what the heck Main Cabin means? I can't imagine how they would. I expect there will be some ticket buyer who will see that, not understand it just means "Coach" and go book the tix on Travelocity instead. An upgrade by regular users for regular users, used to DL's "idiosyncrasies." All you other ticket buyers, go away. |

I don't think it's a bug. "Main Cabin" refers to the fare class, e.g. any non-E coach fare. C+ doesn't have any dedicated fare classes; some people simply have the right to select C+ seats if they buy a full fare, have status, or buy-up.

Doesn't any passenger on a revenue ticket that isn't E class have the right to buy an available EC/C+ seat?
