You could try Skyping to one of the overseas call centers. Singapore comes up as being generally helpful and easy to understand. I have also read reports of people contacting Mexico City.

It was only 35 minutes for me on Monday. Normally I wouldn't bother them with bad weather, but I had two award reservations for the same day and it wouldn't let me cancel one online. I didn't want to risk any automatic processing deleting the wrong one.

Maybe the DM agents are busy trying to answer calls about why elites are being charged more miles for award tickets than when an elite is not flying on the same flights.

I called yesterday afternoon (expecting lengthy delays) and waited 2 minutes. The res agent seemed to have an Asian accent, so perhaps I was routed out of the US. Nevertheless the agent was very helpful and rebooked me.

An hour for me earlier this morning. It was a bit nerve wracking watching seats disappear on my preferred reroute while I was waiting for the call back from them.

Sunday morning I did the option to be called back and was told it would be approximately 18 minutes and it took them 47 minute before I received the call back

I did the callback thing and it came in right on time (7-12 mins). I'm guessing that the reps who call us back aren't Diamond Desk (which is fine with me).
