2:30 BNA-ATL flight. Can't do any earlier (trade show til noon).

I'm at CDG right now (0930 Wednesday in Paris)--waiting to board an AF flight to ATL which is scheduled to arrive at 2:55 PM. All the postings say everything is on time (and the flight scheduled to arrive at 5:30 PM is showing to be on time as well)--but my daughter's school is closed today, and my wife has sent me messages that 2-4 inches of snow predicted.
Hopefully, I will be able to get in today without a whole lot of trouble. We'll see.

Today Rain, mainly after 3pm. Areas of fog before 10am. High near 39. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight Rain and snow before 2am, then a chance of snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Patchy fog after midnight. Low around 32. East wind around 5 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Winter Storm Warning issued for ATL?
I've got a flight that's within this waiver. Can I just cancel the trip and receive delta credit for a future (not yet booked) trip?
