Delta rewards those flyers who purchase expensive international FC tickets. Everyone else..not so much.

(I'm in agreement that while this new program hurts many people, including myself it certainly makes sense in rewarding their top fliers, those who fly long-haul J and buy last minute tickets)

same flights 4 time (12 segments) = 41,322 MQM which is not at the gold level yet.
MQM is what counts toward medallion status.

I guess if you live amid the corn stubble in Iowa you have nothing worthwhile to spend your money on so you can take pride in spending over $1.00 per MQM. 
Me, I'd rather stick with my lowly, insignificant $.06 per MQM for the same seats on the same flights.
Maybe the oversensitive OP can get in touch with the DM Necklace Lady and work on some public recognition methodologies.

I guess if you live amid the corn stubble in Iowa you have nothing worthwhile to spend your money on so you can take pride in spending over $1.00 per MQM.

LOL. If you are allowed to spend 9k on TATL sucks for you having to fly DL. For less than that you can fly true first class in a five star airline.
