Why no meal MSP-MCO?

Our flight leaves MSP at 3:10pm and arrives at MCO at 7:15pm. The flight is 1310 miles. Delta says meal service is offered on flights over 900 miles that fall within the window between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. My flight exceeds this mileage and falls within the dinner window, but provides only snacks in First Class. Why is there no meal?

Beacuse no matter how you calculate it, 3:10 is not between 4PM and 8PM

The flight has to originate after 4:00pm to be eligible for a meal?
