Delta partner lounge question
 
Hi,

I will be traveling from HKG to SEA via delta next year. I will not have any delta status next year. If i have a delta sky club one day pass, will I be able to get into the partner lounges in HKG as Delta does not have it's own sky club in HKG?

DL SC day passes and single entrance passes are generally good only for genuine SCs.

DL had been using third party lounges in HKG, such as the QF lounge, but I think this practice has ended and they now send their passengers to the AF lounge.

There might be PriorityPass lounges you could use if you're a member or even lounges that let you pay for admission.

Great...looks like no lounge access for me when I'm in HKG unless I pay full price.

Isn't this what most coach passengers without status must do? What do you expect?

HKG is not a bad airport to spend time in; even with access to the Wing last month we spent quite a bit of time in the terminal.

Adding in that this is not unique to Delta. A one day pass to a United Club or an Admirals Club does not get you into a partner lounge.
