Delta Gift Card - 72 Hour Delay
 
Any way to use a Delta e-gift card now or will I be required to wait exactly 72 hours from the time of purchase before using? Any experiences with this?

I tried to use one after about 24 hours and was denied. Not sure how exact the 72 hour rule is, but you are definitely required to wait for a period of time.

Nope, even called Delta and they told me I won't be able to use e-giftcard for 72 hours after the purchase.

Had to wait. Then I saw $200 fare increase on ticket I was planning to buy :rolleyes:
