LAX - T5 SC or T6 BR
Have a long-ish layover in LAX this week, and had seen that SC members get free access to the AS BR there. Curious which gets the vote for better amenities?
Flying into T8 on UA (from somewhere DL doesn't service) and will probably fly out of T5, so both lounges are equally convenient to get to.

If there's a good chance that your DL flight will experience IROPs, it's an advantage to be in the SC for information and rebooking assistance. Otherwise, go with the AS BR or try both, depending on how crowded the lounges are and how much time you have.

LAX BR is awful. The person working the front desk is often the bartender. Not much in the way of snacks, but you can buy a salad or a microwave pizza. It does get crowded during certain times. 2 free drink limit, and the selections are very limited anyway.
Skyclub gets more traffic, but it's much bigger.

A tip works wonders if you want more than three on a long layover.

Depends on what type of amenities you are looking for...I was just in both of these lounges this past weekend. Both times it was for a morning flight
Shower facilities - DL (BR has none)
Food selection - BR (Can order breakfast omlette or sandiches for $8, self made waffles available + yougart/cereal). If you just want yougart/cereal/oatmeal, then DL. Afternoons, DL has soups, spring salad and chicken salad.
Size of space - DL
Crowd control - BR (is usually far less crowded than SC, IME)

I was there last week and wasn't really impressed with either. Perhaps due to a late hour, but BR really disappointed with no soup, almost no snacks, and super-slow wifi. SC was, as usual, a zoo, warm, and the lighting in there (those awful fluorescents) always make me feel like I'm in some weird dream.
But then again, it *is* LAX T5/T6, so........ meh.
