Rebooking a cancelled ticket
So I had to cancel an F ticket SEA-JFK that was nonrefundable and am very confused on how I rebook a new ticket with the credit from the canceled ticket. Once you cancel, you can't input the old PNR and I don't have skymiles account so I can't login to see credits etc. Delta.com doesn't seem to have any answers...would this be a scenario to call?
~Edit, maybe since I just cancelled and I haven't received an email yet...will I get a ecredit of some sort and that's how I rebook?

You need the old TICKET NUMBER starting with 006-
2.would this be a scenario to call?
Yes, this would be a scenario to call in and ask for the new reservation, using the credit from the cancelled ticket less change/ cancellation charges.

Don't forget to state that you are having trouble booking online, otherwise they may slap the manual booking fee onto the price.

Your ticket number should be on the emailed receipt from when you purchased the ticket. It's a long number starting with 006.

Booking fees only apply when a ticket is first booked. There's no booking fee when changing a ticket, only a change fee and of course the difference in fare.
