Dinner in F - DL 1869 DTW-SEA 9/10

Anyone with any recent reports about what to expect for dinner choices on this flight? If they were unappetizing/unsatisfying, can anyone recommend good dining options at DTW? I've got a 2+ hour layover.

Thanks as always!

I'm partial to Sora for sushi (just down a bit from the entrance to the Westin near the middle of A).

I flew 1823 (same route) on Aug 30.

Dinner was a pastrami sandwich, cape Cod chips, fruit bowl and a dancing deer.

You're not crazy - Popeye's is my guilty go-to as well if I'm in the mood for fast food.

I do like Sora's though as well.

Not exactly the same route, but I flew ATL-SEA last week in F and the options were Cheesy Ravioli (with a side salad and roll) or Chicken w/ Vegetables.

Have they gotten rid of those awful Luvo F meals?

Sora has the best sushi in the midwest. I sometimes pick DTW over MSP just to order from them.

Sounds like AS may beat the DL meal on this route

Instead of Cape Cod Chips... its Alaskan Cod (or something else- but the cod is yummy)

You and my wife. I personally always look forward to going to Fudruckers. Never had a chance to go to Sora, as the only layovers I've had at DTW that were long enough for a sit-down restaurant were in the morning.

Not specific to your flight, but choice is always chicken or pasta and is edible. Quality is a cut below what coach was in the good old days. Last chicken was about six cubes with a below par teriyaki sauce.
