Coffee on Delta Connection
I was wondering what coffee does Delta serve on the Delta flight from SJC-LAX? I hope they still serve the Biscoff Cookies in the morning. It goes real well with coffee. The last time I was on Delta they were serving Java City.
Thanks |
It seems that every RJ I fly on the coffee pot broke on the incoming flight the no coffee on the flight

Is it Seattle's Best on mainline, as well as DL connection?
http://news.delta.com/index.php?s=20295&item=123598 Feb 8, 2011 SEATTLE and ATLANTA, Feb. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) and Seattle's Best Coffee, part of Starbucks Corporation (Nasdaq: SBUX), today announced a new agreement that will offer Delta customers freshly brewed Seattle's Best Coffee® onboard all domestic and international Delta and Delta Connection flights beginning March 1, 2011. For Delta, the move is part of the company's $2 billion investment in the customer experience on the ground and in the air. For Seattle's Best, the agreement reflects the next step in its ongoing strategy to broaden the accessibility of its premium coffee through relationships with great brands – from restaurants to the runway. "A premium customer experience requires premium coffee and Delta is proud to serve Seattle's Best," said Tim Mapes, Delta's senior vice president of Marketing. "During in-flight taste testing, we saw firsthand the passion Delta customers have for coffee and for the role it plays in a superior travel experience." |

I've been on flights were the FA says the coffee pot hasn't work on that tail for days. One has to wonder if they can't fix a coffee pot, how are they at fixing the important stuff? |
Don't drink coffee in the flights the water they use is not clean

Define not clean? And how do you know?
I couldn't find updated reports for Delta, but the first two reports say things haven't gotten much better, so I'd assume the 12% of Delta planes where coliform was detected (per the last link above) is still true. All that said, while it's not the cleanest water, the chances of you getting ill from drinking it, particularly if you're healthy, is low. And I still occasionally drink the coffee. edit: I haven't really paid attention to see if the FAs are making coffee on DL Connections, since I usually fly AS/Horizon instead of DL Connection/SkyWest for my small hops, but this AA thread, seems to suggest that for ERJs the coffee isn't made onboard: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...-day-long.html |
Haven't been flying Delta connection for a while. But from what I remember, it must be Starbucks coffee. At least that's what the FAs always brought on board. Don't know if it was served to passengers :D
